The journal shall publish original articles (review articles not considered) on the most recent aspects of engineering research and development. It shall serve the needs of:

1. The academics who carry out basic engineering research and education
2. Applied research workers whose research work lead to further development and possible industrial applications.
3. Professionals who are engaged in consultancy, design and construction, manufacture and other creative areas of engineering profession.
