Abstract
The research activities in this paper advance a new distinct and Hybrid MGA and IGWO was utilized to develop an optimization model for Optimization of Power System Total Transfer Capability and Power Losses with FACTS power electronic devices with the application different optimization techniques. The algorithm concurrently solved the main objective problem and gets the optimal allocation as it searches for FACTS location and sizes. Objective function with integration of the devices for TTC considering the active and reactive power generation bounds, voltage confines, line flow boundaries, and FACTS devices operation parameters and restrictions. TCSC and UPFC devices’ parameters have been optimally allocated for this work and consequently carried out successfully on MATLAB® platform via IEEE 30-bus test bus system. Power system undertakings and parameters can be augmented and improved by artificial intelligence techniques like evolutionary algorithms which are population-based methods that comb a problem space in parallel and try to share data with each other using biologically stimulated mechanisms alongside FACTS devices. These controllers constitute a group of robust power electronics based controllers intended for use on an AC arrangement to advance and regulate load flow and provide sustenance for network voltages. The devices substitute defunct grid solutions and developments especially in situations where construction additional power system infrastructure is not frugally or logistically feasible. Largely, these devices enhance power and voltage in three dissimilar ways: parallel compensation of system voltage, sequence/series compensation of line impedances or phase/angle recompense or all of the aforementioned system indicators

Key words: Power quality Reactive power losses FACTS Model IGWO MGA TCSC Shunt compensation Series Compensation
